Button Fairies
These are all made by wiring some beads together with some craft wire. Each fairies wings are made from some patchwork butterflies with glitter and jewels added. The first fairy (LEFT) has a face made from a Crafty Individuals image with glossy accents over the top. The Second fairy (MIDDLE) has a domino stamped with a girls face think it is a Tanda Stamps stamp if not I am sorry. The Third (Right) face is made from Porcelain and coloured with Tim Holtz ink and glittered.
Thanks for looking and commenting on my blog - have a good week and I hope the sun shines on you whatever you do.

Tuesday Taggers
Using the waste from Sequin manufacture as a mask I coloured the corners with Shabby Shutters. I watercoloured the flowers with Mustard seed and blended the dye ink to give a tonal effect. I added some paper flowers stamped with a word stamp using the same colour for all the flowers which was Shabby Shutters. Added flower buttons and a porcelain butterfly which I made myself at a pottery class. I added a few word stamps stamped in Bottle and some Papermania Adhesive Shimmer Dots. all hung from hanger from The Rusty Tin company. (Just looked on their web site don't think they do these any more) If anyone reading this knows where I can get another could you please let me know - thanks for popping by. Pop over to Tuesday Taggers to see some fabulous work.

Black White and a touch of Gold
Materials and Method:
First of all I cut a piece of White Mount board to size. I then used a Butterfly Kisses stamp to stamp the background in black Stazon. I die cut a bird cage using a Tim Holtz Alterations BIGZ Die from funky foam and made this into a rubber stamp. I stamped the cage onto prepared tag shaped black card with Versafine and embossed it using gold embossing powder. I then cut a second cage from black card and also cut a bird from the same Die plate from gold mirror card. I then embossed the bird and wing with Tim Holtz embossing folder.
Using Black Stazon ink I smooshed over the embossing to bring out the detail
I placed the bird over the embossed cage. I mounted the black bird cage slightly off centre of the embossed cage using foam pads I then placed the wing over the front cage to give it depth.
I added both a gold jewel and a black one on top of each other to make a beady eye.
I added some paper black and White paper flowers and placed a jewel in the middle of each flower. I added some brads to the corners of the black card to look like studs and coloured them with gold marker pen I also added some chain detail with a gold marker pen and went over it with some real wire to make it look like chain.
I hope you like my offering this week I enjoyed using the Die and am quite pleased with the result I got from making the stamp. Thanks for looking I very much appreciate you taking time to leave comments, Have a good week whatever you do I hope you have a crafty time.

Tidy still
My desk is still tidy - tried to clean it up each time I have worked on it - wonder how long this will last. For WOYWW today are a few things I have been working on over the last week - Propped up are Three ATCs for the Stamp Man's first Challenge (Wings)- see below for a close up version of one of them. In the foreground is a card I made for Tuesday Taggers (make a Scene) to the right of that i s a Tag made for Tag Your It - see large photo above (Uncle Sam) being the theme - found this hard as did not have anything to do with America so got the image from Google and printed the words off the computer and added some ribbon and stars - think it turned out well. Also on the table are a couple of ATCs one being a BRAK (Birthday Random Act of Kindness) and one being a CRAK (Christmas Random Act if Kindness). That's it for this week folks have a lovely crafty week - thanks for looking and for all your lovely comments last week.

Two more Tags for Tuesday
HARD ONE THIS WEEK
Tuesday Taggers MAKE A SCENE
So went with the easy option - a stamp that was already a scene, so this is what I did and what I used.
White hammered card for the main part of the card - Ellison Design Adhesive Cardstock bright green for the contrasting section. Penny Black Stamp Naughty or Nice? stamped onto white card and mounted onto Silver Mirror card. Coloured with Marvy watercolour pens Green, Red,Yellow Light Blue & Orange. Background stamped with Paper Mill Snowflake stamp, stamped with Black Stazon. A Clarity Stamps swirls stamp stamped with TH Peeled Paint and smooshed round the edges. For the first in ages I used some PEEL OFFS!!! in the shape of Snowflakes to cover some of the stamped snowflake images and a Christmas PEEL OFF!! and border. Hope you like the result - I think it is ok.
