Hello fellow bloggers - I have not been here for a couple of weeks sorry - my visit to Geordieland was a huge success I met up with some lovely old friends and met some new ones too. I Visited GNPE at Harrogate too so the weekend was craftylisious!! (hope that is a word if not it should be!)
Anyway folks this week my desk is my art desk (kitchen Table). I am doing my second year A2 in Fine Art at college and my homework over the next 6 weeks is to do 4 Pastiches (copies of other peoples work) this is to teach us colour mixing I am finding it hard and challenging but I am loving it. The two pieces are Paintings by Edward Hopper I am pleased with the one on the left but am yet to finish the other one - maybe if the light is better tomorrow.
I hope to get around everyone today on WOYWW but if I don't I am sorry in advance - I might be stuck behind my kitchen table all day!!! love and ((HUGS)) to all who visit me today and don't forget to go and have a look at what the rest of the blogland world is up to on and visit
Julia at stamping-ground. woyww.

ReplyDeleteMorning Liz, good luck with your homework, do let us know how you get on. S (13)
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great day - those pics are gorgeous! Love the colour charts you're mixing. (19)
ReplyDeleteIt must be amazing to do an art qualification, I am so envious.
ReplyDeleteWhat do you hope to do after the A2?
I think a course like this must really open up the mind and allow all kinds of influences to filter through and ultimately improve ones art.
Lucky you, but I understand it must be hard work, though worth it in the long run!
Have a busy week
